When considering ideas for this piece one of the things we discussed was the current econmic situation and how the big banks seem to be causing the problems. During the discussion it occured to me that I had seen an advert for The Guardian newspaper which used the three little pigs. Not only does this advert back up what we are trying to say – that the powers that be drive people to do things that are out of character, but it also looked great because it had so many layers to it. I liked the way it had text layed over the action of the film, I also really liked how the creaters had used a well known story to get their point across. It also shows how the actions of a few can escalate into something really quite major that effects everybody.
